The TOP 5 ULTIMATE Evangelism tips you need to speak to people about Jesus

 #1   Who Jesus is

When speaking to people about Jesus YOU NEED a full understanding of who Jesus is.
Jesus was fully man and fully GOD. He existed on this earth and he lives through the holy spirit today. We know he was fully human: he  had a human body - he ate, he drank, he sweated, he got tired, he suffered pain; he had human emotions -     love, joy, sadness; he had human experiences - he had the experience of growing up in a family, of education, of having a job, of being tempted, bereavement, suffering, being tortured, and the experience of death.
The teaching of Jesus is widely acknowledged to be the greatest teaching that's ever fallen from the lips of a human being. 'Love your neighbour as yourself. Do to others what you would have them do to you. Love your enemy. Turn the other cheek.'
Jesus' teaching has been the foundation of really our entire civilisation in the West. Many of our laws were originally based on the teaching of Jesus. We're making progress in every field of science and technology

 #2 Why Jesus died

When speaking to people about Jesus YOU NEED a full understanding of why Jesus died.
Jesus was crucified on a cross, it was a terrible way to die, so cruel even that the Romans abolished it in 337AD. The cross is a symbol of Christianity that lots of people wear worldwide and it points to the crucifixion of Christ.
John 3:16 explains why Jesus died. ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.’
The bible states that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We had no access to God due to being born into the world through sin. Remember Adam and Eve??
The purpose of bringing us to God implies that, prior to Jesus dying, we were far away.
So the truth is that God came to this earth in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you and for me. That leaves us, where it leaves you and me is that we are free to have a relationship with God.

#3 Gods plan for the world

When speaking to people about Jesus YOU NEED to know God's plan for the world.
You may have heard the statement God’s Kingdom is advancing or in the Lord's prayer, your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
Do you know what that even means? What is God’s plan for our world as revealed in the Bible? The answer is Jesus, who was in every way the complete and full expression of God’s will in action.
God's ultimate purpose is to create a people, from every tribe and nation, to dwell in his presence, glorifying him through their lives and enjoying him forever.
We are carrying Christ wherever we are, from waking in the morning to the laying of our heads at night, we are God's plan. It may seem difficult in the circumstances you are in, to even acknowledge that God has a plan for you. The bible states that he has great plans for us,
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
We advance God's Kingdom whenever we operate in the world, where there is conflict, we bring peace, where there is confusion, we bring
We advance God's Kingdom whenever we operate in the world, where there is conflict, we bring peace, where there is confusion, we bring
clarity, where there is fear, we bring love. This is how God's kingdom advances.
Revelation 21:3-4 “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them.
Humans are an essential part of God's Master Plan. We are the vehicle through which God will fill the earth with His glory. It is only humans who can truly reveal the glory of God. The mountains, stars and wonders of God's natural creation, as beautiful as they are, cannot fully reveal God's character. Just as a tree cannot show love, and a mountain cannot show grace - they all lack the essential characteristic that gives humans the capacity to reveal God's character - free will.
We all have the freedom to determine our behaviour and to mould our characters. We have the ability to reveal the many wonderful characteristics of God. God wants us to use this gift to reveal His character in our lives. This is, in essence, the purpose of life (John 17v22 ).

#4 Our Responsibility

When speaking to people about Jesus YOU NEED to know your responsibility whilst on this earth.
What if we were all EMPOWERED to know what to say, how to say it and above all help people in their understanding of Jesus.
We want people to follow Jesus and also stay the full course of the journey, passionately following after him throughout their lives.
It's the best journey in life to have - what an adventure it is following Jesus.
2 Corinthians 5:20 New International Version (NIV)
20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
We are all able to join in at any level of spreading the message of Jesus. Whether you have just made a commitment to follow Jesus or you have been a follower of Jesus for a long, long time, we are AMBASSADORS of Christ.
We have a scale below which highlights two extremes of an ambassador of Christ.
Ask yourself where would you fit on this scale?

Christian Apparel

Examples
You may not feel that it's easy to tell people that you go to Church.
But you may be THE person who encourages people when they first attend a service. You may be THAT person who notices a visitor and befriends them.
You may feel like you can invite people to Church socials but the conversation never goes beyond those invitations.
But you may be the person who can draw a number of people to social events, you could be the gatherer of people using your gift.
You may feel that you never, ever have any conversations with your friends and family about God or your Christian faith.
But YOU could be the person who prays for them daily, their first port of call when in need, the loyal friend who supports through all walks of life.
As you can see, we cannot get too hung up on what we are not doing, let's get passionate in what we ARE doing and do it more. If you like having people over for meals, do it more, if you like going for coffees, do it more, if you like playing sports with work colleagues, do it more.
These are our mission fields, out in the workplace, the school gate, the office party, the football match and this is where we become the window, which people can look through to see what God is like.
1 Timothy 2:4 New International Version (NIV) 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
I can't stress this enough! Find out where you are on the ambassador scale, use your gift to do more of what you are good at, don't get condemned when you feel like you should be preaching the Gospel every time when you are with people who don't know Jesus yet. Ask the Lord to help you and watch what happens.
Did you just feel the pressure ebb away? Our mission is not to spurt out the 3 steps to heaven quotes to our friends and neighbours, our mission is to be an ambassador for Christ, wherever we are we go with the power and authority of the Holy Spirit. Our authority T-Shirt below depicts the image of us as Christians having authority to calm the storms.
How easy is it to reach lots of people using your God given character and personality. People who never knew that God existed can be shown the love of Christ through you.

#5 The role of the Church

When speaking to people about Jesus YOU NEED to know the role of the Church.
All believers in Jesus should go to their local Church or a Church that believes in Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
Jesus is the head of the Church worldwide, its God's plan for his kingdom to be established on earth. The Church is a family, everyone is welcome, everyone should be encouraged and serve to create the best community ever. All people from all walks of life gel together in
Church, like a colourful mosaic, blending into each other sharpening each other and lifting each other up.
The Church family is your place to bring hope to fellow believers, accept help from fellow believers and inspire each other to do more and go further with God.
Once you are in a Church family, this opens up the whole area of the body of Christ all using their gifts, for reaching and equipping the saints, the potential is limitless. Every believer doing their part, spurring each other on to go further, loving people to Jesus. We strongly recommend that you find a Church that is outward focused, looking to spread the message of Jesus and empowering their members to do the same.
If you are not in a Church and would love to connect with one, then have a look here at some of the Churches we know about. A google search for a local Church in your area should also help you find a place you can call home right on your doorstep.

For some fun have a look at the quiz by a recommended author Mark Teasdale, here to see who you compare to on the spreading the message scale.
Does this negate our part to tell our testimony?
Not at all, that's why we created the Christian Clothing shop and Clothing with a message. We want people to share their own story as this is what the Bible tells us to do, we just know it's sometimes not the first thing to do in a friendship/family situation.
God can use all types of spreading the message from the Ambassador scale above, you just need to find out what works for you and keep doing it.

Good Little checklist to keep you on your toes with living out the Christian Mission.
1) Who are we praying for?
Pray specifically for family and friends work colleagues - God can invade their lives and introduce situations for them to come to know him or conversations to happen..
Pray regularly daily weekly monthly and see what happens.
We get God’s compassion for that person and also it takes your thoughts of yourself by preferring others.
Who are we praying for - let's start?
2) Who are we spending time/socialising with
We know it's hard with work and other commitments, to see it as important to socialise and spend time with people outside of the Church context.
Peer to peer people see into our lives and we are sometimes their only shop window into Church and Christianity. God has brought people alongside us for a reason, can we be their hope?
It's important to spend time with people so they can get to know us. Easier to invite them to our socials if we actually hang round with people from all areas of the community.
3) Who can we invite?
Great events at Church, but usually the same people attend.
Christmas and Easter are usually huge events in the Church Calendar, can we have this at the forefront of our minds when inviting people to things?
Let's get invites out early, not at the last minute, text people to attend online Church, go to Church services, spread the word, wear the Christian Clothing.
There is something really powerful about bringing people to a community of faith, where people who don’t normally go to Church are surprised by the amount of people and the passion people have for God.
4) Who can we help
The Wider Church family, for all Church members, it's our responsibility to get alongside someone who attends Church for the first time. Don’t be surprised if your story or testimony could be the opening way for them to connect to God for the first time. That's sometimes how God works, he can use anyone and anything!
What about any friends who have invited someone to Church, can we help them? Let's let people see the love of the Church family in action.
